What changes when the room is virtual?

A digital room can give art a setting. It also asks us to be honest about what a screen can and cannot show.

What changes when the room is virtual?

On a collection page, every work gets its own rectangle. In a room, the works start to affect each other. A red canvas pulls your eye across the floor. A small sculpture makes you move closer. The empty space between them becomes part of the experience.

Our virtual gallery lets you move through a small selection at your own pace. You can turn towards a wall, focus on a work, or use a supported headset to step into the room. The point is to have another way of looking.

An augmented reality preview goes a step further. On a supported device, you can place an approximate artwork frame in your own space. This is a placement aid. It is not a measurement tool, and screen colour will not match every physical material.

Nothing here replaces a close look at the real thing. It can help you decide which work you want to see next, and what you want to ask when you do.
